Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 17, 2026
This policy explains what information Velnoriq ("we", "us") collects through our website (velnoriq.com) and our platform (app.velnoriq.com, the "Service"), and what we do with it.
The short version: we collect what we need to run an operations platform for your business, we don't run ads, we don't use third-party analytics trackers, and we never sell your data. Your business data is yours.
1. Information we collect
Waitlist (velnoriq.com). If you join the waitlist we collect what you submit: company name, contact name, email address, the sales channels you use, a rough monthly order volume, and an optional message. We also record which of our sites the form was submitted from. We use this solely to evaluate and contact beta candidates.
Account information. When an account is created for you: your name, email address, and login credentials. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in hashed form — we never see or store your password itself.
Business data you enter. The working content of the Service: products, vendors, purchase orders, inventory, locations, manufacturing and cost data, orders, shipments, notes, and files you upload. This is your data; we host and process it only to provide the Service to you.
Marketplace data you connect. If you authorize a marketplace connection (such as Amazon or Walmart), we import the operational data needed to run your workflows: orders, inventory, listings, fees, and settlement information from your own seller account. We deliberately minimize buyer personal information — our Amazon integration is designed to operate without buyer personal data. Where a channel includes customer names and shipping addresses on seller-fulfilled orders, we store them only so you can fulfill those orders.
Support and feedback. If you report an issue or idea from inside the app, we receive your report and any screenshot you choose to attach, along with your user and organization so we can respond.
Technical data. Standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and operations; error reports through our error-tracking tool when something breaks, so we can fix it. Our public waitlist endpoint keeps a short-lived, in-memory count of requests per IP address to prevent abuse; it is not stored durably.
Cookies and local storage. The Service uses cookies only for sign-in sessions (essential cookies). We use your browser's local storage for interface preferences, such as remembering a search box's contents on your own device. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies, or tracking pixels on either site.
2. What we do with information
- Provide, operate, secure, and back up the Service.
- Contact you about your account, the beta program, or a waitlist application.
- Send operational alerts only if your organization configures an alert email address. This matters: if no address is configured, no alert is sent — there is no fallback recipient, and your business notifications are never routed to Velnoriq or anyone else. This rule is enforced in the software itself.
- Fix bugs and improve the product using error reports and the feedback you send.
We do not: sell or rent personal information; use your business data for advertising; show your data to, or use it for the benefit of, any other customer.
3. How data is shared
We use a small set of service providers ("subprocessors") to run the Service. They process data on our behalf, under their own contractual and security obligations, and only as needed for their function:
| Provider | Function |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and file storage |
| Vercel | Application hosting |
| Cloudflare | DNS and network |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery |
| Sentry | Error tracking |
| Google Workspace | Our support mailbox |
Marketplace connections (Amazon, Walmart) exchange data directly between the Service and your own seller account under the authorization you grant; those marketplaces' own privacy policies govern their side.
Beyond the above, we disclose information only if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Velnoriq or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy continues to apply to your data until changed with notice).
4. Where data lives and how it's protected
Data is stored in the United States. Protections include: encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest; per-organization isolation enforced at the database layer (row-level security), so one customer's queries can never return another customer's rows; organization-scoped file storage; database access restricted by SSL and network allowlisting; and nightly backups. No system is perfectly secure, but isolation between customers is a design property of the platform, not a policy promise.
5. Retention, export, and deletion
- Waitlist entries are kept while we run the beta selection process and are deleted when no longer needed, or on request.
- Account and business data are kept while your account is active. When your participation ends, you can export your business data in CSV form, and we delete your organization's data (database records and uploaded files) within 60 days of account closure, except where law requires longer retention or where data persists briefly in routine backups before aging out.
- You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information: support@velnoriq.com.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over personal data (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection). We honor reasonable requests regardless of jurisdiction — email support@velnoriq.com and we will respond within 30 days. The Service is a business tool; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we will notify account owners by email or in the app before the change takes effect, and update the effective date above.
